Welcome! My name is Kathryn Spradlin. In my kindergarten classroom I do my best to encourage curiosity, kindness, and confidence. I believe that learning should be a joyful and engaging experience. I focus on building a strong foundation in both academics and social-emotional skills.

This is my twelfth year at Parkwood Elementary School. I have taught previously in Las Vegas, Nevada and in Virginia. I have a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree and a Specialist Degree in Elementary Education.  I have been married for 32 years and have two grown children. We have three dogs and one cat. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
