Hello! I am LaRia Walker an EIP teacher here at Parkwood Elementary! This is my 14th year as an educator. I taught first grade for 10 years and third grade for 3 years. My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fort Valley State University, a Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Math K-5 from Walden University, and a Specialist Degree in Media and Instructional Technology from The University of West Georgia. 

I was born and raised in Macon, GA  and currently live in Houston County. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and family, traveling, crafting, swimming, and shopping! I love everything that glitters, all shades of pink, and getting to know, teach, and GROW my students!  We are going to have an amazing 25-26 school year!
